Edgar G. Rodriguez Castro has attended Shelbyville Central High School for the past 3 years. Known for his bold personality and dark sense of humor, he can make a classroom roar with laughter. In addition, has the goofiest pug. As a result, I have decided to interview him.
As a senior, how do you feel this school year has been?
It has been a terrible year, and I would much rather wish to relive freshman year again than this year. However, art, one of the classes I am taking this year, has served as an outlet for me to express myself and boost my creativity.
What are your plans after you graduate?
I plan to take advantage of the two free years of community college and then go to MTSU.
From freshman to senior year, do you feel you have grown as a person?
The quarantine has given me time to work on my mentality and be more confident. I have learned not rely on other people or seek validation from others.
Have you joined any after school activities?
Not this year, because with the pandemic going on, it has caused many clubs and after school activities to limit the amount of tasks they can commit to.
Do you have job?
Yes, I work as stocker at Walmart. You can find me at the Hispanic aisle.
And finally why do you never stay in journalism when you asked Mr. Wilson if you can.
See, I have other matters to attend to, and I’m not interested in staying for another class.
